Where you derail

Vigilance can tip into anxiety.

The shadow side of Type 6 is not caution — it is doubt that loops. The same foresight that protects the team can spiral into worst-case thinking, second-guessing, and a search for reassurance. You can become risk-averse to the point of stalling, killing bold ideas because you can see all the ways they might fail.

Under pressure, you may test people's loyalty before trusting them, project your worry onto the team, and oscillate between over-caution and sudden, reactive moves to relieve the tension.
